Ticket sales have ended

August 14th Arrive at building 600/ Apprentice School Athletic field (4215 Marshall ave. Newport News ) at 1:45 am. The bus will leave promptly at 2am and will not wait for those who are late. The boat will load at 5:30 and will leave promptly at 6am. Boat will go about 35 miles offshore. This is not a trip for those who get sea sick easily. Please do not book your spot if you feel you may get sick and not fish. For those who may need it incase of sea sickness please bring your self some motion sickness medicine and take before getting on the boat. Also this is not a preferred trip for children under the age of 12. Incase of any injury's/ allergies/ sicknesses that may occur the coast guard will be called and will arrive faster than it would take for the boat to return to the dock. Boat will arrive back to the dock at 4pm, we will stay at the dock for about an hour to allow those who would like their fish cleaned to do so. (fish cleaning normally costs $1 per pound of fish, please bring cash) Please also bring cash to tip the mates for their help on the boat with bait, rigging rods, unhooking fish, untangling lines, etc. Things to bring with you: Cooler, breakfast & Lunch & drinks, sunscreen, and medicines you may need, hat, sunglasses, cash. We will make one stop on the way back for those to pick up dinner / snacks if wanted & for a restroom break. During the trip on the bus, we will have a sleeper double decker bus for everyone to have room to social distance and get sleep. For those who are not vaccinated we encourage you to distance your self when able to while on the bus. Each person must sign a release of liability form from the Apprentice School before loading onto the bus.
